Friday afternoon kicks off the Grand Knife Adventure with a proper show. "Doors" will open at 2pm. And by doors, we mean, you'll park your vehicle and walk out back to a patio with a view of the Bradshaw Mountains. You'll be greeted with a cold libation and we'll get the show started at 3pm. The makers will have tables you can peruse and even sit down and talk with the maker! A catered Dinner starts at 5p and we'll wrap the festivities at 9p.
Saturday morning kicks off a day of adventure. New River features world-class off-roading and that's exactly what those of us who are adventurous will do! Last year we had a large group who rented side-by-sides and ventured into the mountains of New River - and we even made it back in one piece! Rentals are 4 hours long and we'll meet up at 9:30am. Upon returning, we'll head across the street to Katrina's for some proper tacos! This sort of an adventure not your cup of tea? This is your chance to explore Phoenix, run the trails, or even head up to Sedona for a day trip; but be back by dark, because the group fun does not end yet.
The RoadRunner Saloon is our local haunt and featues live bull riding every Saturday night. Many a PBR rider has come through the Roadrunner and this is a happening place every Saturday night for both local residents and attendees from all over the country. We'll meet up as a group, toast the weekend, enjoy the live music, and have a grand time watching bull riding. Like all events, this is optional, and there is a cover charge.
